When you practice prenatal yoga, you are not only alleviating the aches and pains of pregnancy but preparing your body for giving birth (and preparing it for recovery too).
One of the poses many mamas love during their pregnancy is The Birth Wave. Many of them are surprised when they find themselves doing it during labor - and they tell me after they've given birth that it was one of the most helpful poses during contractions.
