Standing lunges, a pose to use during contractions

May 17, 2017

Many of the poses we do in MTRNL prenatal yoga classes are awesome for relieving the aches and pains of pregnancy (some of which you won't know you had until they're gone after awesome poses like this); and the bonus is that lots of these poses are going to come in handy while you are in labor.

Today we practiced High Lunges in class. And I recorded a short tutorial on how to do a standing lunge, which you can do using a chair or small table. (Just make sure it is stable please - and ideally pushed up against a wall!)

Give it a go and let me know how it feels.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Or even better, join one of our yoga classes by registering via the schedule. Namaste! Blair
